About Powerstroke Performance
At Powerstroke Performance in Wasilla, AK, we strive to become our customers’ one-stop shop for their vehicles and provide all repairs from oil changes to engine replacements and more. We care about our customers and will go above and beyond to make sure they are taken care of.
Our shop was opened by Shad Baldwin in 2011. He has over 22 years of experience in the industry, starting his automotive journey working on trucks with his grandpa. He spent five years in the Marine Corps and then went on to work for Ford, becoming a certified Ford Technician. He chose auto repair because it was something he enjoyed doing and for which he had a natural talent from a young age. Outside of auto repair, his hobbies include drag racing, dirt racing, motocross racing, camping, hunting, shooting, and muscle cars.
At our shop, we offer unique services for diesel trucks, including engine services, drivetrain repair, manual transmissions, front and rear differentials, electronics, and more. We also perform BG Services on engines, transmissions, coolant systems, and power steering systems, and offer warranties with all services.
