A year ago, my dumbass drove my F350 too deep and too fast through a crossing on the Knick River. Completely hydro locked the engine. I let it sit for a few minutes and tried to crank it once with a nasty sound. Stopped and called a tow company. I live in Anchorage, so asked the tow driver if there was a good shop close. One day later, went to pick up the truck. Mind you, I had never met Shad and was really rolling the dice. He informed me of the fixes performed, as well as some additional parts he replaced (glow plugs, worn out wiring harness). From the sounds of it, they spit a TON of water out of the engine. I thought "here comes the bigger bill." Nope, honored the initial estimate without hesitation and had me on my way. Shad is a seasoned Ford desiel tech that decided to start his own shop. He definitely knows his stuff. Thanks for getting me back on the road and getting me taken care of with honest work. Over a year later, truck is running with zero problems. That is saying a lot for the finicky 6.0 Powerstroke.
